I am a junior at Harvard College studying the History of Science. I enjoy helping students overcome their academic frustrations and working towards comfort in their toughest subjects. I know the feeling of pride that comes with understanding complicated material! My passion for tutoring has led me to multiple previous academic coaching positions. I have a strong background in guiding high schoolers though their experiences, from helping them succeed in their classes to preparing them for the SAT to helping them apply to college. Regardless of what I'm doing on any given day, one of the key components of my job is the ability to understand, paraphrase, and communicate complicated concepts to the public.Combined with my personal experience in coaching youth volleyball and serving as an interpreter for the US Forest Service last year, I have found I'm able to explain ideas well to people regardless of their background knowledge on any given topic.
