Certified Tutor

I am currently studying in my 3rd year for my law bachelors degree. I began tutoring during my first year of university, and have 3 years of experience, teaching students from primary and secondary school, through GCSEs and A levels.

Teaching is such a dynamic job. Meeting and working with a range of personalities in people makes the job exciting, and one that must be creative by nature. It is incredibly varied and that adds a vibrancy to the work, which I love. My teaching philosophy is that "your best is always good enough". That is exactly what I intend to bring my students, and it is all I can ask for from them, to try their hardest.

I keep my classroom open for questions, mistakes and discussion. I never want a student to feel as though they cannot communicate openly and honestly. There is an expectation for mutual respect, which is probably the most important aspect for a healthy professional relationship.

Outside of my academic work and tutoring, I am passionate about the arts. I am a songwriter and am teaching myself to play the guitar. I am also part of a performing arts group and so I write poems to perform and have acted and danced in a number of amateur productions.
