My name is Bailey Mitchell and I am an undergraduate junior studying Mechanical Engineering at Texas A & M University. I am pursuing a career in propulsion and hope to build a career designing and testing rocket engines.

At Texas A & M, I am involved in the Rocket Engine Design Team (TAMU RED) and I work as a Research Assistant in the Advanced Engine Research Laboratory on campus. I also serve as the Outreach Director for Women in Mechanical Engineering (MEEN Girls), who are dedicated to supporting women in our male-dominated field.

I grew up in Broomfield, Colorado (North Denver area) and was very active in sports in high school (soccer, football, and volleyball). When I get the chance, I still love hiking through the mountains in Colorado and finding other ways to live an active lifestyle.
