...a student at College of Lake County majoring in education. I plan to transfer to Illinois State University in Fall of 2019. My goal is to help every student find a way that works for them and increase not only their grades but their understanding and love of subjects they may struggle with!

I've always enjoyed tutoring as a way to express my love of writing and math. I'm excited to help and meet some families in my neighborhood!

My professional life has been spent helping young people reach their full potential in the fields of mathematics and physics. I am a full-time high-school teacher with nearly 20 years of experience. With a friendly and patient demeanor, I believe my tutoring will help build confidence and a strong academic foundation in struggling students.... With a growth mindset, there is nothing that a student can't accomplish.

I aim to increase understanding and retention of information as well as developing not just the skills to solve a specific problem, but the mindset needed to then solve all future problems. Also, I try and make the process as enjoyable as possible!... I like to take my time to understand how each individual student learns and change my teaching style to suit their needs.
