I have many years of experience as a professional math tutor. My goal is to use educational methods to try and encourage my students to understand mathematics, and therefore improve in their math courses. I have experience as a tutor in elementary school level math through Calculus and Differential Equations.I have completed my PhD in mathematics. This has helped me to gain training in both mathematics and teaching. I have worked at a tutoring center where I was trained to tutor students and gained experience in tutoring. This also gave me the opportunity to tutor students in various levels of math. I have seen students improve in their mathematical skills through my help and guidance, which brings joy to my student and myself.

I'm Dhanush! I believe chemistry can be fun to everyone, and I try to make it so when I teach it. I have been tutoring for several years now, and I use the best analogies I can think of when teaching. I've taught it as the intricate dance of charged particles, and also as a high school drama of characters bonding and breaking up. How will I teach it to you?

Teaching is so important to me that I have done this for more than 25 years.I have taught math in 3 different schools; Schenectady County Community College, Bryant and Stratton, and ITT technical institute.Besides math, I have taught chemistry, physics, and computer science. Now for my educational background - I have a BS from RPI and an MS from UConn in Chemical Engineering, a MS in Mechanical engineering from Union College, and a BS in Management Engineering from RPILooking forward to working with you
I am a graduate of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Since graduation, I have tutored high school students in algebra, geometry, precalculus, and statistics; adults in college looking for remedial help as well as standard college level math including calculus, differential equations, and discrete math. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for standardized tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) prepping for the mathematics and quantitative reasoning sections. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading US History and STEM textbooks, playing my Nintendo Switch, and the odd game of Catan.

I have always had a passion for mathematics and its applications. Throughout my professional and educational background as a biomedical engineer, my project experiences ranged from designing a prosthetic hind limb for a German Shepherd to researching the pupillary response to cognitive load. Mathematics played a key role in the success of these projects. As a mathematics tutor, I will ensure a student's success by creating an engaging environment that is adaptive to the student's learning style. I will strive to make learning mathematical concepts a fun and enriching experience.

In addition to my teaching and tutoring duties, I designed individualized lesson plans, curricula, homework assignments, and tests. Subjects I have successfully tutored Physics: all levels Chemistry: all levels high school, plus P-Chem, O-Chem Biology: all levels high school Math: all levels high school, plus Differential Equations, Statistics, some Group Theory. Standardized test preparation (incl. SAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT) Need help in another area? Just ask! While math and science are the subjects I am most passionate about, I am well-versed in many academic areas, and I may be able to help you.
Hi, my name is Todd. I hold my Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the top undergraduate school in the country, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. For as long as I can remember I have helped those around me with the concepts of the class room. When ever a friend needs help in math, they come straight to me.
