I am a former educator who has worked in public education in North Carolina for six years. I worked as a fifth grade teacher's assistant in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, did my student teaching in Wake County Schools, and taught Family and Consumer Sciences at the middle school level in Orange County Schools. I am an experienced tutor and special education teacher. I attended Meredith College, where I earned a degree in History with minors in Political Science and Public History. I also received my Master's in Special Education from Western Carolina University.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Meredith College and in the Dual Degree Engineering program they have with NC State. I am working towards a B.A. in Chemistry from Meredith and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from NC State. I am experienced in peer tutoring in a variety of subjects but I am most passionate about chemistry. Through tutoring I wish to help others find a love for knowledge and education, just like I have.
