Hi everyone! My name is Kylee. I'm a third year medical student who originally was interested in law, took the LSAT, and then decided to take the MCAT and go to medical school. I'm at an MD program in Pennsylvania. I'm very passionate about teaching and have tutored a lot over the years. I believe that practice problems are a huge part of learning that isn't taught well in high school/college level. I've worked with students with several different learning styles and who have reported learning difficulties. The thing I struggled with the most throughout school was the volume of information that we are often responsible for knowing. I've developed tons of tricks throughout my academic career to help with that. I'm super excited to meet you and hope that I can help you meet your academic goals!

I'm a native Spanish speaker and an adjunct college professor with a bachelor's degree and a master's in Business Administration.For over five years, I've taught business, Spanish, and college success courses at local community colleges. I'm also a Spanish tutor and an Academic Coach. I enjoy working in small groups and one-on-one with students to personalize their lessons and adjust to their learning styles.I teach all levels of Spanish, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and help you improve your conversational skills.My teaching philosophy is to help students develop a robust understanding and mastery of the language, provide cultural exposure, help them communicate, and gain perspective of the Hispanic world. I am also a graduate of George Washington University where I received my Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Health Care Quality. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from DeSales University with a minor in psychology. Additionally, I have certifications as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Professional in Patient Safety, and Six Sigma Green Belt. I am a professional mentor at my organization for beginner nurses looking to advance their career and also provide academic guest lectures at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. I have been blessed with many wonderful mentors and teachers in my academic journey and will always strive to enhance others academic or professional journey as well. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two children, hiking, Philadelphia 76ers, gardening, and reading Harry Potter.

My goal is very simple: To help you write well. I will read through your writing, analyze one-time problems and repeat issues, then develop an individualized approach to help you (or your child) improve on these things.I believe in creating a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere for the student, but keeping focused on the assignment. I speak directly and pointedly so the student knows precisely what's wrong with the essay (and, most importantly, how to fix it). I also make sure that the student makes the corrections his or herself so they get the actual feel for writing something well. Good writing is not just about using correct grammar, it is about structuring an argument, persuading an audience and sounding eloquent; skills that will help student well into adulthood.I have an MFA in Creative Writing with my thesis being a full-length novel that was edited by a five-time Pulitzer Prize nominee. I have also been a Proofreader for ExpressScripts Medicare and a Research Assistant to a Princeton University historian, doing his fellowship with the James Madison Program.I'm a pretty avid record collector and music-lover. I spend the bulk of my day working at a local nonprofit and being disappointed by the New York Giants.

I am a graduate of DeSales University, Allentown, PA. I am a certified K-12 teacher in the state of Florida. I spent 5 years as a performer with the Walt Disney Company, performing in shows and parades in Disney World and filming special events for TV and movies. I have spent many years teaching and tutoring students in the Performing Arts. I am most passionate about passing on my love of the arts to future performers and educators! I believe education should be fun and engaging for all learning styles.

I have been a high school math and computer science teacher for the past 22 years. I have my B.S in Mathematics and my M.S in Computer Science. I currently teach classes in both an online and face-to-face format. One of the things that I love about teaching is being able to interact with students and see the students develop an understanding and confidence with math. Every student learns differently and I love the challenge to find the way to help them be successful.
