I first encountered tutoring in my sophomore year of high school when I became the math teacher's TA. Throughout my next 2 years at high school I continued being her main tutor and assistant. I tutored some in college as well, but due to heavy class loads I only did it for a couple of semesters.After graduating, I decided to apply to get my Master's of Teaching. Until I start school, I'm going to start tutoring again because it is something I enjoy a lot.Outside of school, I work as a nursing assistant and enjoy walking my dogs.

Students are people who become some of the most important people in my life. Finding out how a student learns best and learning together is amazing. I have spent time living in Michigan, teaching and getting my Master's Degree in Reading at Eastern Michigan University. I am now am living in Wisconsin where my great grandparents lived!

I am a recent graduate of Adrian College with a Bachelor's degree in Arts Management. I have had experience as a tutor in both college and high school and wish to continue tutoring in my professional life as preparation to teach English in the Peace Corps. Because of this interest, the subjects I tutor in are English, Writing, Reading&Comprehension, and ACT prep. I have a strong passion for lifelong learning that I believe I can share with my students. When I'm not tutoring, I love to see live music at concerts and shows around the area.

I am a certified teacher dedicated to the learning of my students, no matter their learning experiences. I problem solve using different methods so that I can reach every learning style, and genuinely taking interest in my students' experiences. I am patient, and have experience with students with learning disabilities.I received my education at Adrian College, getting my Bachelor's in Biology and Secondary Education, as well as successfully minored in psychology. I have one year professional experience and five years clinical experience. I tutor the science, biology, environmental science, life sciences, and earth science. My favorite subject to teach is definitely biology and environmental science, though I teach all of my subjects with equal enthusiasm.Outside of teaching, I am an avid equestrian and animal lover/caretaker. I have many pets that require my attention, and I have also nurtured wild animals back to health, most recently, a squirrel I found on my college campus. In high school, I was very active in theater. I also sing, and play the violin.

I am currently entering my senior year of undergraduate school as a Chemistry major. I was always ahead in math and science courses from a young age and completed calculus by the time I was a sophomore in high school. I have had five years of experience tutoring individuals in various science, math, and writing courses as well as for standardized testing. I believe it is in the student's interest that we make a personalized plan to tackling the tasks at hand in order to ensure that the student feels comfortable and confident in their work.

I am a high school math teacher and a recent graduate from Northern Arizona University where I earned my master's degree in math education. I have experience teaching at both the high school and college level and have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Geometry, Precalculus, and college Algebra. I am passionate about student success and I love learning and teaching math. My goal is to help students better understand and enjoy the math that they are learning. When I am not teaching or learning, I enjoy being active, spending time with friends and family, reading, walking my dog, horseback riding, and painting.
