I am a 2014 graduate of Taylor University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, with minors in biology and chemistry. I did this with the goal of attending medical school. Upon graduating college, I worked full-time as a math tutor in the inner city of Chicago. After this excellent opportunity, I attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University, where I am currently in my fourth year. Throughout my time in medical school, I have been active in tutoring students in a wide variety of subjects. Therefore, I bring around ten years worth of tutoring experience. Through tutoring everything from English composition to general chemistry, I have fostered a skill of working with individuals to help them understand a wide variety of concepts. I am passionate about meeting students where they are, and working through concepts that they may have a difficult time understanding. As a student of the sciences, I enjoy working with individuals on biology and chemistry. Additionally, I enjoy assisting individuals in the writing process, having experience working at the Taylor University Writing Center. I have started teaching Physics and Mathematics for high school students voluntarily in my neighborhood after my undergraduate education and I have helped them to prepare well for the JEE (Joint entrance examination, India) examination. I always found teaching Physics extremely satisfying. I am almost equally interested in Music and Poetry. I have learnt Indian Classical music and practice it whenever I am free. I usually spend most of my time either reading or singing.

Hello! I'm a 10+ year teaching and tutoring professional specializing in math, text anxiety, and general help. I have worked with SAT, ACT, GED, college essays, and more. Basically, I enjoy helping students figure out where they are stuck and helping them get unstuck. Most people are only missing a few small pieces of the foundation (in any subject), and once they get it, they are off and running. My area of expertise is getting students moving again.

I graduated from Marquette University in May 2015. During my attendance there I majored in biological sciences and worked in both their macro and micro-biology labs, the latter of which I have a published paper for my work. While at Marquette I also tutored. I think it is extremely important for tutors to be able to help their students learn in what ever way best allows for them to understand the material. Every student has a different learning type and it is up to their tutor to figure out what that type is and apply teaching styles that will benefit that individual. Besides working as a microbiologist I also am a high school hockey coach at Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, IL. I am a huge Black Hawk fan and definitely believe Ovechkin is better than Crosby. I have flexible hours and am willing to work as much as needed to help people understand their material, especially since science does not always contain easy concepts to understand.
