The Early Childhood Admissions Assessment (ECAA) is an assessment test taken by students from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade and administered by the Education Records Bureau (ERB). The ECAA/ERB is used as part of the admissions process at some private elementary schools across the U.S. Students are only allowed to take the test once per admissions season. The test is administered to students one-on-one and takes up to an hour for younger students, with an additional reading comprehension section for students from second to fourth grade.
