About Me

I am currently training to become an actuary, so my areas of expertise cover a wide array of topics. I believe in taking an open-minded approach for my tutoring, and based on my students' strengths and weaknesses I like to develop a unique tutoring style. This most often ranges from focusing on being able to explain concepts in words, to taking a more visual approach and looking at the big picture, to working through problems to figure out areas of difficulty. In my free time, I really enjoy playing alto saxophone and electric guitar, as well as working out at the gym and swimming laps in the pool. I have also been known to binge-watch TV shows and movie series on Netflix. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you as well as passing on my knowledge and skills as a student/teacher.
