I have been a teacher for 15 years. My first 2 years were spent teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math. For the past 13 years I have been teaching 5th grade. I have taught a variety of subjects and concepts including general math, pre-Algebra, introduction to Geometry, Elementary Life and Physical Science, Ancient Civilizations, and American History. I am also proficient in comprehension skills, vocabulary skills, and writing skills. along with study skills. I enjoy teaching very much, and I find in the summer, I start missing it!! I have been tutoring during my summers off for about 14 years. I have worked with children from kindergarten up to 9th grade. I also take on a few students during the school year. I look forward to meeting your child and being a part of his/her academic success!!!

I love animals of all sorts, playing volleyball, watching movies, reading, and spending time with my fabulous 2 daughters!
