About Me

It is such a great pleasure to be a Varsity Tutor and help students improve to realize goals! Your time is very valuable to me, so I will break down those complex concepts for you to understand, internalize, commit to memory and score high and/or higher! I have been a teaching assistant for calculus and physics and research assistant for power system design and analysis work at the college of engineering at my graduate school. In two consecutive summers, I was the math teacher and tutor for the Upward Bound High School summer camp which gave me priceless knowledge and experience on what the high school students are interested in learning and what their strength and limitations are, thus I can address their questions and concerns accordingly. From 2012 to present, I have been a GRE and SAT math teacher helping students learn and improve their math (calculus, geometry, trigonometry, algebra), science subjects (physics, biology and chemistry) and developing their knowledge and skills for creativity and problem-solving.
