I am an engineering student at Princeton University. I have taken and tutored many AP subjects especially in the sciences and math. I am a recent graduate of Brown University (2012- GPA 3.7) where I graduated with degrees in English Literature and Theatre Arts. I have always had a passion for teaching, first fostering this interest as a teacher's aid in my school's Lower School and as a camp counselor for a number of years. Teaching and education continued to be an important part of my collegiate life as well. As far as hobbies are concerned, I love Photography and travel writing. I have experience as an ESL teacher for young children and teens, as well as experience working as a Writing Consultant at my undergraduate institution. I also spent all four years of my undergraduate career volunteering as an SAT tutor for local high schoolers. Beyond this, I have experience both as a private and public Spanish tutor. I want to tutor because I am always excited about learning new things, and I want to share this with students of all ages. I find that this way, a student can do difficult work, excel, and feel both accomplished and happy. I have a broad range of specialties, from physics, to programming in Java and C, to German, to test prep and college applications help. I also love workshopping all kinds of writing, whether personal or academic. Some of my qualifications include physics research at a Max Planck Institute and acceptances to Harvard and UC Berkeley. I have experience teaching environmental science to children at a botanical garden and volunteering as a reading tutor for elementary schoolers behind grade level.
