I am in New York City studying acting, and I want to bring the same energy, enthusiasm and compassion that is required on stage to my students. I have experience tutoring for the SATs, and I have had significant experience serving as a mentor to younger students, particularly in the university setting. I love coaching and helping students discover their intellectual passions. Most importantly, I am thrilled by the prospect of helping a student set concrete goals and progress towards actualizing them in an academic realm. But above all I want to work with students to help them develop strategies that are personally effective and furthermore that link their passions with their education.

I am a current student at Yale University pursuing a degree in English. Since I was little, writing and storytelling has been one of my biggest passions. Though back then, I often told stories to my friends and family as though they were truth, once they helped me find the page I've had much, much more success. I have been tutoring kids since I was in high school, but I've also spent many hours working with kids on the baseball diamond as a coach, as well as as a camp counselor. My philosophy is that I know how hard and difficult (and sometimes annoying) high school English and History classes can be, and my goal is to try and bring a little fun back into the material while making sure we do what it takes to master your craft as a budding young writer, whether in a rhetorical analysis of Pride and Prejudice or in your CommonApp personal essay.

I am a student at Yale University and am pursuing a B.A. in Economics. I have experience tutoring various levels of math and am very passionate about furthering the understanding of students in this subject. I also have a lot of test taking strategies that I have implemented in my own academic life and the practical experience of successfully taking many standardized tests which makes me a great resource for the ACT and SAT.

I'm a rising junior at Stanford University majoring in International Relations and minoring in Education, and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. I am most passionate about history, but I really enjoy math and writing too. I've been working extensively in educational settings for the past two years, working as a middle school TA and after school program academic classroom director/tutor. In my free time, I love having conversations with my friends and students, reading, dancing, listening to music, and hanging out with my younger sisters. I transferred to Yale from Raritan Valley Community College, where I earned a double AA in English and Liberal Arts-Theater, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA, was the English Department's student of the year, and served as Executive Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa, for which position I earned an award.

I am a junior at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania studying Economics, Finance, and Business Analytics. For the last few years, I have been helping students with college application and test prep help, such as college essays, common app, and SAT/Subject SATs. I came from a high school where these resources for college and SAT prep were not as readily available, so I want to work towards making college more accessible by helping students with their application.
