About Me

I'm an educator transitioning from higher ed to high school teaching. I earned my PhD in sociology at Columbia University, where I also worked as an instructor, at the School of International and Public Affairs. I taught sociology for several years, as a visiting and adjunct assistant professor, at the City University of New York. Now I'm pursuing alternate route certification to teach high school social studies.
