About Me

I am a person dedicated to lifelong learning and teaching. I enjoy the complexities of school work and the opportunity to make complex concepts easy and understandable. As a medical student, I value discipline and hard work but I also believe that enjoying what you study makes a big difference in the outcome. As a student who started medical school with no medical background, I have come to appreciate the beauty of the courses which pushed me into earning a degree in it. I volunteered as a SAT math tutor for about 6 months and was a tutor for about one and a half years in medical school. For as long as i can remember, I have always been an unofficial tutor. There is nothing more satisfying than teaching a person to understand a difficult concept but also recruiting someone to the life of being a lifelong learner. My status as a medical student has given me a unique perspective of the human body. It has given me in depth knowledge that makes it easier to explain difficult concepts. I have also taught these causes to medical students and have been awarded an Excellent facilitator award for it. I love to make learning enjoyable, relevant and practical. I enjoy teaching but I also enjoy encouraging students and motivating them to go beyond themselves.
