I am graduate student in Software Engineering and have a strong background in mathematics, statistics and physics. Teaching and tutoring is something I have done extensively during school because it helps me revisit many foundational concepts in these subjects, helps evolve my teaching strategies and above all: because I love doing it. I'm a recent master's graduate from Rutgers University (2021). I went to the University of Virginia where I received my B.S. in Kinesiology (2020, Go Hoos!). I was a TA for about 3 years where 2 of those years were spent teaching Organic Chemistry I and II. I really enjoy the subject and while I can't guarantee that you'll love it the way I did, hopefully I can make the experience a little better for you. I've done one-on-one tutoring, taught sections of ~40 students, and led class discussions in organic chem consisting of 250+ students. I currently work for the Rutgers' Institute for Health where I help translate research into policy. Outside of academia I'm passionate about advocating for more accessible health care for marginalized communities and I volunteer at local health fairs in the community. I love tutoring because I know exactly what it feels like to struggle in a new subject--especially one like college chemistry. I've tutored friends and family since I was a freshman in high school, and tutored Calculus at Bergen Community College. My study of both mathematics and an applied science has helped me to develop an appreciation for the practical aspects of math. Have you ever sat in class and wondered, "when am I ever going to use this?" I am here to help you answer that question. It's important to me that you understand the real-world practicality and significance of the subject. I want to help you absorb the information and paint a clear, concrete image in your mind of the concepts at hand. When math is just numbers and symbols, it can be scary. But when we turn it into something realistic that you can transform into engineering, chemistry, or even finance, it becomes enjoyable. That is why I love math, and that joy is what I strive to instill in my students. Math can be a bridge to parts of your mind you never ever knew existed. My other interests include watching Movies, Drawing and Character Design, and Tae Kwon Do, which I've achieved a 1st Degree Black Belt in since I was 13, and I'm still practicing to this day!

I graduated from Biotechnology High School in the Monmouth County Vocational School District, where I believe I learned all the fundamental study skills to carry me successfully through my following years to come. When I obtain my B.S. from Rutgers, I plan to go on and eventually get a Master's and Ph.D.My favorite and strongest subjects are math and the sciences. Because of my background in high school and major in college, I have plenty of experience with Calculus I through IV, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. As the eldest of three I've helped my younger siblings in their studies and primarily use examples and analogies that they can understand and relate to in order to help them.Besides math and science, a few other things I love are research in my lab, football, basketball, comic books (especially Spider-Man and the rest of Marvel), and mixed martial arts.
