Teaching is my passion. I believe every child is a unique individual that needs a stimulating atmosphere fostering intellectual growth. I have been a lower elementary school teacher for over seven years. As an educator, I help students meet their fullest potential by creating an environment that ignites a child's natural curiosity and exploration to understand the world through engagement. I attended the University of Arizona where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women Studies. I acquired my graduate degree in Education with emphasis in Organizational Management from Grand Canyon University. My favorite subjects to tutor are Reading and Math. I love that "got it" moment a student's face when they have reached a milestone. I love to travel during the summer. My travel bucket list includes North Africa, Germany, and Greece. I love meeting new people and taking part in the culture, food and music of the place I am visiting. I am a certified teacher in the areas of Adult Basic Education and Early Childhood Education with an English as a Second Language Endorsement in the state of Arizona.
