About Me

I am a junior at Vassar College where I am working towards a B.A. in economics and film with a Chinese minor. While my expertise lies in standardized math testing (SAT I and SAT II), I am also an experienced essay editor and English tutor to all levels. Commissioned by the Taiwanese government, I have led a third grade class as a volunteer ESL teacher relying on a multimedia approach to language learning. Besides SAT math, I also tutor SAT critical reading and writing, AP micro/macroeconomics, Mandarin Chinese, as well as elementary to high school mathematics (pre-algebra to calculus) and writing skills. As a tutor, I am able to decode the intimidating language of standardized testing for my students and help them become more confidant test takers. I am passionate about education and the accessibility of higher level education for all. At school, I am a part of the rowing team and the Asian Students' Alliance. I enjoy watching movies, long distance running, baking, coffee art and playing classical guitar.
