About Me

I am an aspiring teacher who received a Bachelors in Science in Chemistry, with Honors, from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky. I have experience teaching and tutoring elementary and middle school students in Math and Science, and high school and college students in Chemistry, Biology and Physics. My favorite subject to tutor is Chemistry because Chemistry plays an integral role in all of the things that we see and experience in our every day lives (not just in making things explode on the show MythBusters). As for my teaching style, I prefer to tailor my teaching style to the individual needs and learning style of each student that I work with. I recognize that everyone learns differently and has different needs to be successful. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy playing and watching sports, being outdoors, arts and crafts, reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing video games and spending time with my friends.
