I am a poet, lover of literary gossip, and unrepentant Freud apologist. I have a BA in English and Psychology from Columbia University and will soon be pursuing an MFA at Johns Hopkins.

I am a graduate of MIT. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with minors in Management Science and Ancient and Medieval Studies. Since graduation, I have started my PhD at Georgia Tech in Operations Research. Throughout my career I have TA'd several math and computer science courses at the college level. I have also taught at summer programs for gifted middle school and high school students. I am passionate about tutoring kids in math and science because I think that a strong foundation in STEM at an early age can set the tone for their future. In my spare time I like to engage in athletics, and was a Division 1 rower in college.
I am a graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American History. I recently received my Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and began my career as an attorney. I am passionate about continuing my work in education through tutoring. I enjoy tutoring many subjects, particularly History, SAT Reading and Writing, College Essays, and Spanish. I love assisting students in implementing simple but effective changes in their preparation for Standardized Tests that show immediate results. I find this motivates students to continue through struggles in their educational pursuits. When I am not working, I enjoy yoga, running, cooking, traveling and playing the cello.
I'm excited to use my experiences as a Harvard grad, bio nerd, high school science teacher, and college prep administrator to help you reach your academic goals!
I am extremely passionate about academics and learning; the value of each was inculcated into me at a very young age. I tutor a variety of subjects largely because I have so many areas of interests and have been privileged enough to pursue knowledge in those areas. I even enjoy tucking away "useless facts"...in fact, those very tidbits got me past the Jeopardy! Online Test and into the Contestant Audition!
I am passionate about helping students learn, reach their goals, and have some fun in the process. I am a speech-language pathologist by training with five years of prior research experience studying language recovery after stroke. I received my Bachelor's degree from Rice University and my Master's at Georgia State University. I have successfully helped students achieve their academic dreams with higher SAT/ACT scores and top-of-the-class grades. My teaching philosophy is student-centered, interactive, and individualized to each student's goals, needs, and strengths.
I am a college sophomore at Brown University. I've been involved in tutoring and mentoring since high school, and I'm excited to get to continue with that work here on Varsity Tutors! My past experiences include working as an instructor at a math learning center for K-12 students, as well as private tutoring for middle and high school students. I would describe my teaching style as conversational; my goal is always to work with you to find a perspective on a topic that makes sense to you. I find that I like to I emphasize a concept's relevance and applications while providing explanations, as well as by providing useful practice scenarios or past examples.
I am an undergraduate student at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Neurobiology (B.S.) and minoring in Jazz Studies and Biomedical Physics. While I tutor many areas within math, science, and standardized test preparation, I am most passionate about biology and algebra because of my interest in these subjects as well as my belief in their importance. I have always been the friend who fellow peers go to for guidance with work and because of this, I have learned the value of patience, communication, and empathy in the education process. I firmly believe that every subject I tutor is vital in a student's path to success and a greater understanding of the world, and because of this, I will fully commit myself to making sure my tutees have a solid grasp of the concepts being taught as well as the ability to apply them to real-world situations.
I am here to help you succeed. But what does it mean to succeed? I think success is not simply a matter of knowledge or ability; it is also about attitude and confidence. Through working with me as your tutor, I hope to help you develop your confidence in your abilities and cultivate a positive attitude that allows you to tackle any challenge that comes your way.
I am a recent graduate of Rhodes College, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry and English. After graduation, I have remained close to academia by auditing classes in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology, Organ Systems, Histology, Embryology, and Neuroscience.
I am a recent grad from Georgia Tech, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering (an intersection of math, computer science, and business) and minoring in Business and Technology. I am originally from Columbus, OH, but chose to come down to Atlanta after getting a full-ride scholarship from Georgia Tech. In my spare time, I love playing/watching sports and travelling around the world (when possible!).
I am passionate about teaching others as I believe knowledge is an infinite resource that can be used to help us achieve great things in life. As a student at Northwestern University I have been constantly challenged to learn in new ways and I hope to inspire and help others navigate through various subjects. I am obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience on the pre-med track and I have already attained a legal studies minor. I am a firm supporter of customized learning as finding the best way to teach or learn is the best way to receive amazing results.

Whether your student attends a school in the Houston County system or nearby areas, we match them with tutors who understand local curriculum standards and can provide targeted help in any subject.
Tutors working with students in Warner Robins are familiar with Georgia's academic standards and can tailor instruction to address specific gaps in core subjects like math, reading, and science. Personalized 1-on-1 instruction is particularly effective for helping students master grade-level expectations and prepare for state assessments, especially given the individual attention each student receives.
Students in Warner Robins typically seek help with math (algebra, geometry, and standardized test prep), English/language arts, and science. We also work with many students preparing for the SAT and ACT, as well as those needing support with AP and honors-level coursework. Tutors can address any subject based on your student's specific needs.
Your first session is an opportunity for the tutor to assess your student's current level, understand their learning style, and identify specific areas where they need support. The tutor will discuss goals with your student and create a personalized plan tailored to their needs—whether that's catching up in a subject, preparing for a test, or getting ahead in their coursework.
While Warner Robins schools maintain a 14.2:1 student-teacher ratio, even this is significantly larger than the 1-on-1 instruction personalized tutoring provides. One-on-one tutoring allows tutors to focus entirely on your student's unique learning needs, pace, and questions—something that's difficult in a traditional classroom setting, no matter the class size.
Tutoring costs vary based on the subject, tutor expertise, and frequency of sessions. We work with families to find flexible scheduling and pricing options that fit your budget. Contact us for a personalized quote based on your student's specific needs.

Absolutely. Whether your student is preparing for advanced placement exams, looking to strengthen skills for honors courses, or aiming for top test scores, tutors can provide enrichment and challenge at any level.
