I've tutored Grammar and Spanish to high school students, though I am also extremely passionate about science (specifically Biology), and Test Prep!As a student, I am extremely detail-oriented myself, and while I am certainly capable of providing "big-picture" overviews, I am not afraid to dive into the nitty-gritty details if you need it! I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a major in Neurobiology & Physiology with a minor in Human Development. I believe interactive learning is the best form of retaining knowledge but I am also able to cater to many learning styles. Helping people understand complex subjects with fun memorizing skills is the best part of teaching!

I've been a mathematician and tutor for about 15 years. I have also taught mathematics at the college level for the past 7 years. My research touches on the interactions between math and theoretical computer science, as well as number theory (largely the study of prime numbers). I've taught courses ranging from basic arithmetic up through linear algebra and multivariable calculus. The second most exciting thing about mathematics is that moment when something totally opaque and confusing suddenly solidifies into crystal clarity. It's the sort of moment that makes you shout "aha!" or "eureka!". The most exciting thing about mathematics is sharing that experience with someone else.
