I am a recent grad from Georgia Tech, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering (an intersection of math, computer science, and business) and minoring in Business and Technology. I am originally from Columbus, OH, but chose to come down to Atlanta after getting a full-ride scholarship from Georgia Tech. I am a PhD Student in Linguistic Program at the University of Georgia. I received my Master’s degree in English Education at University of Missouri. My area of study is language acquisition and language learning process. As a native speaker of Chinese, my previous teaching experience includes working with bilingual Chinese American children in a Chinese language school and teaching English to the students in Chinese middle school, I am currently an instructor of the linguistic class at UGA. My past experience enabled me to gain excellent teaching skills as well as the ability to work with learners from different language backgrounds and age groups. I believe that language learning is not merely absorbing the linguistics of the language, but also the culture attached to it. I am passionate about Chinese language tutoring and willing to help students prepare for Standardized Tests. By integrating cultural aspects into my teaching, I expect my students to not only develop solid language skills, but also to be able to think in that language, which serves as the soul of that country and people who speak it. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, cycling and yoga.

I am a recent graduate of Rhodes College, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry and English. After graduation, I have remained close to academia by auditing classes in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology, Organ Systems, Histology, Embryology, and Neuroscience.

I'm a finance student at the University of Georgia dedicated to helping my students learn math and other skills through practice and hard work. I began my tutoring career at Kumon where I developed a passion to help other students excel in their academic careers. My teaching philosophy is practice, the only to truly master a subject is to practice it until you can do it with your eyes closed.

I'm a junior at Washington University in St. Louis studying English literature and international and area studies. My specialties are reading comprehension, writing, grammar, Spanish language, politics, and history, though I also enjoy chemistry/earth sciences and math up to Calculus 2! I can't wait to work with you!

I am Juliana, and I am a first year MBA student at Tulane University. I attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate, where I began tutoring and editing essays at the university writing center. I love finding new ways to dissect concepts and communicate knowledge across an array of different learning styles. To this day, I even pick up choreography and dance instructor jobs when my schedule allows, because I love teaching! :)

I am a rising junior in Cornell University in the College of Engineering. Currently, I am studying Computer Science and Education with the goal of becoming a high school teacher for Mathematics and Computer Science. I have educated others in a wide variety of age groups and settings from public schools to private tutoring to summer camps. With the rise of computer science and programming I have firsthand experience on what the future of someone pursuing that field is like and how to prepare and stay motivated in that field. In my time aiding students I saw that motivation and having a goal is the most important part of learning the subject and becoming a better student to help accomplish the set goal.

I'm working in Gwinnet County public School (Nesbit Elementary School) as a Paraprofessional. I work with special need students in all level, ASD level 1 to 3. I take my work seriously and always ready to make change on my students life.

I am originally from Cartersville, Georgia, but go to school at Washington University in St. Louis. I am a sophomore pursuing a double major in Biology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I am currently on the pre-health track in the hopes of one day becoming an Obstetrician Gynecologist. I spend most of my free time volunteering for the Distinguished Young Women program as an interview coach and participant coordinator, locally and statewide.
