I am studying Industrial Systems Engineering as a rising sophomore at The Ohio State University. I have previously taught students who were struggling with math and english in my community and also taught kids about global cultures and societal issues at a summer camp for three years. These experiences have made me grow as a teacher and have taught me that there is nothing more important than hard work and curiosity. If any student possesses both of these qualities, learning becomes an opportunity, not a task. My style of teaching is one that involves a sense of humor and relatability. I have noticed that students respond most to a hands-on, visual, and fun environment. I try to incorporate these three components in the subjects I love teaching most - math and english! In my free time, I love to paint, dance, and write.
