About Me

I love working with students and helping them accomplish their goals! It is a joy relating to students and the struggles that inevitably occur inside or outside the classroom. I believe it is important for a student to gain a thorough understanding of the subject rather than completing an assignment because a genuine knowledge of the subject often produces a passion for learning due to the students accomplishment, and this passion for learning and understanding is my ultimate goal for the student. I received my Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences from Liberty University with the honors of Magna Cum Laude. Throughout college I was consistently meeting one-on-one with professors, which taught me the value of meeting with someone to bolster subject knowledge, and I also helped my fellow students throughout college with various questions and topics. I learned that it takes a village to obtain academic achievement and educational goals, and that it really can be more enjoyable going through the experience with others! In addition, I was Valedictorian of my high school class with honors of Summa Cum Laude, and I am familiar with the hard work it takes in high school to be accepted to the University of choice and obtain academic scholarships. I tutor subjects concerning the Sciences, Math, English, Public Speaking, Music, and the ACT. I have taken the ACT 5 times in order to achieve the test score I wanted, so I am very experienced with that exam (and the hard work it takes to achieve those high-test scores). I love tutoring Biology because of the beautiful intricacies that make life possible, and Biology also incorporates various hard sciences such as, Chemistry and Physics. I enjoy tutoring English because language is so important in sharing with others your thoughts and your experiences. Piano/Music is another favorite of mine because I have been playing the piano since I was 4 years old so the subject is very dear to my heart. While I love learning new things and stretching the mind, other interests and hobbies of mine include traveling, coffee, quality music, vintage things, shopping, hiking, running, and of course, piano.
