About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry as well as MCD (Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental) Biology while minoring in Chemistry in 2015. I love exploring all of the cool things that this world has to offer. By dabbling in a little of everything I can set my sights on what really holds my attention. My primary interests lie in the sciences, where learning what makes our world turn drives my passion for knowledge. I believe that successful tutoring involves assessing how a student learns and adapting my teaching style to best fit the needs of the student. In this manner a student can learn in a way that seems to come naturally and allows knowledge to flow more seamlessly. Fostering a passion for learning and encouraging growth as a successful student are my main goals as a tutor. Outside of the lab I enjoy exploring what our great state of Colorado has to offer. Skiing, mountain biking, cycling, mountaineering and other outdoor activities usually eat up any time that is not spent pursuing my academic goals!
