I am a Dartmouth graduate. I am currently working on my med and business endeavors. I have not only an interest, but a motivation to help others. I have helped students get into Ivy League schools as well as other top universities across the country with top scholarships. I tutor in all subjects from French to Essay Writing and Algebra to Chemistry! I want my students and tutees to see the value in themselves and know that they can accomplish anything with determination and hard work! I am excited to offer tutoring services to students of all levels. I have extensive experience in liberal arts subjects (writing skills, critical reading, etc.) and also have a history of success on multiple standardized tests, having scored in at least the 98th percentile on the ISEE, ACT, SAT, and LSAT.

I am a fourth year Medical Student in the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CCNY. This is a seven year BS/MD program, so by the end of the seven years, I will have achieved both degrees. I have a lot of tutoring experience in the K-12 age especially in the 7-12 grade range. I have taught SAT, SHSAT, ACT, SAT subject tests and Regents exams as well. My favorite subject to tutor is math and biology, but I am able to tutor other subject areas like reading, writing, chemistry, and physics. My tutoring style is very student oriented with some lecturing. I make sure that most of the time I am asking questions, even if it is basic, just to get the student to always be on his/her feet. I also make sure to use a lot of diagrams and flow charts when teaching. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time exploring and doing photography. I am currently a senior at the Stern School of Business at NYU, graduating this semester. I am majoring in Management and Finance with a minor in History. Professionally I aligned to Strategy Consulting overall, but have numerous interests in M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. I have tutored peers and students for the past 7 years of my life and I have always assumed a role of a mentor, instead of being a simple tutor. Tutoring in general is a perfect means of passing down tips and experience gathered over years of schooling that help numerous students, no matter where they are. Outside of all of these aspectes, I am an avid traveler and have a huge passion to touch every little piece of the globe. The world's various cultures and people have lived a different subset of experiences than we have in our Western society. The ability to open one's perspective to these varying views and approaches to life is a key element of learning and such experiences are critical to everyone's development. In teaching I always include all of my perspectives and insights, no matter the subject. I look forward to working closely with all of you!

I am a recent graduate of Indiana University. I majored in Human Biology with an area of concentration in Human Growth and Development, as well as minored in Chemistry and Psychology. I am currently applying to medical school. My tutoring experience has been tutoring English in Austria, and I have been a student of the Kaplan MCAT course. I am from Tulsa, OK and came to Boston for college. I studied Biomedical Engineering at both Boston University during undergrad and Tufts University for my masters. After much thought, I deviated from a medical school track to pursue a career in the medical device industry. My love for math and science started around middle school, and I was strongly influenced by my teachers. Through tutoring, I hope to be a similar influence. I really enjoy working with students of all ages (elementary to grads!) In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and volunteering at the Animal Rescue League in Boston. I am a 19-year-old Sophomore at the University of Texas at Dallas. I’m currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Literary Studies, minoring in Psychology, and am working towards teaching certification. Afterwards, I intend to work towards my Masters Degree in Humanities with a focus on Studies in Literature. I have been a part of the Future Teacher Internship program at my high school, worked as a teaching intern/assistant, and am currently employed as an AVID tutor. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade, though my specialty lies with older kids. With a GPA of 4.5, I was ranked number 10 in my high school graduating class of over 650 students, and my current GPA at UTD is 3.97. Hobbies: books, dancing, writing, reading, music, singing, art

During this time, I have worked as a literacy and math tutor for middle school students, as well as led a writing seminar for high school students preparing to go to college.
