About Me

I am a graduate of Webster University, where I received my Masters in Marketing. While studying at Webster, I was a substitute teacher for the Hickman Mills School District, grades K-8th. During my entire college career, I have always had a job working with kids. After graduation, I always tried to make sure that I still had an opportunity to work with kids on the enhancement of their education and tutoring became a great way to do so. I have now been a tutor for 8 years, and I have loved every minute of it. Knowing that you can make a difference educationally in a small child's life means a lot.

My philosophy of teaching is to make sure that each student is comfortable with what it is that they are learning. Education should be fun. When you combine comfort and fun in teaching, it helps the students retain the information for years after they have learned it. Plus it makes a difference with the child.
