About Me

Teaching English Language Arts allows me to exercise my two passions: education and literacy. Being state certified to teach English to students in grades 5-12 gives me the opportunity to teach and tutor a wide range of material. My M.A in English Education provides me with a variety of tools to use when leading students toward fulfilling their academic potential. My goal is to make students feel confident and comfortable in their learning environment, free to ask questions and seek answers. By allowing my patient and positive attitude to play a role in my tutoring sessions, I hope to guide students toward achieving their educational goals.
