- I am currently seeking a Master's to further my interest in law and psychology.
- I've tutored ever since I was offered the opportunity to mentor math students in the 7th grade.
About Me
I received my Bachelor's in Psychology with a Certificate in Symbolic, Cognitive and Linguistic Systems as a member of Barrett, The Honors College from Arizona State University. I've tutored subjects ranging from Math to Science to English to Music Theory. However, the subjects I most love to tutor are Math and Science. In college, I took a class called "Discrete Math" where we were forced to provide proofs for basic mathematical theorems. It made math more complex, but it also gave me a deeper understanding of math. As for science, I spend much of my time reading about novel scientific advances and I hope to contribute to that body of research in academia. I would describe my tutoring style as empathic and resilient. I try to see where the student will most benefit, then continue that pattern. While continuing that pattern, I try to help the student acknowledge his/her own most efficient methods of learning so they can have life-long success. I have many hobbies, such as participating in ASU Mock Trial, learning about science, playing video games, writing, and playing guitar. I am most passionate about Mock Trial, as I love learning about the law and advocating in a simulated setting. Additionally, I love mastering certain parts of advocacy that typically law students and new attorneys seek to learn.
