I am a private tutor with over ten years of experience on the SATs, College Essays & Applications, English, History, Math, TOEFL, and the like. I have taught for over seven years, including at such prestigious institutions as Choate Rosemary Hall, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University with a triple major in English, Philosophy, and American studies. I have two masters' degrees, and am a certified teacher in the State of Massachusetts. As a tutor, I am both flexible and patient. No two students are the same, and therefore there is no "right approach" to tutoring. Rather, I try to meet students where they are, and find ways to help them accomplish whatever goals they have in mind, be it an SAT score, a better writing style, or a new approach to studying history. I have helped hundreds of students with SAT preparation, and have worked both around the United States and internationally as a private tutor and college counselor, so I am familiar with many different types of students, from a wide variety of backgrounds, and the various difficulties they face. In short, I work with students in many ways, depending on what the student him or herself needs.
