About Me

I am a 2nd year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Midwestern University. I am originally from California, but live in Arizona because I am attending school. I have accumulated about 5 years worth of tutoring experience from private tutoring, classroom teaching, and after-school programs where I used to work. My favorite subjects are math/science and I have tutored algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, and SAT math in the past. My goal for my students is for them to understand and appreciate the material so that they will be interested and want to learn on their own. I teach my students what it takes to succeed and give them confidence in their own abilities to achieve these goals. I live a very busy life with lots of things to manage, so you may wonder why I spend time tutoring. I enjoy tutoring and by sharing my knowledge and experiences with my students, it is just one way for me to give back to the community.
