I am a highly engaged tutor who incorporates success coaching into her sessions. I am not only here to help you or your student improve in a subject area, but also to teach study habits, provide encouragement, and work as a role model for becoming a lifelong learner. I am passionate about both what I tutor and tutoring itself! I excel in communication, have lots of patience, and am not afraid to make studying entertaining. Many of my students have complimented me on my way of finding fun ways to remember or visualize things, breaking down an instructor's rather "cryptic" assignment, and gradually incorporating study habits into our sessions.

I am also an actor, writer, and photographer. I have worked as a retail sales associate, psychology research assistant, professional actor, and photo lab technician. When I am spending free time at home, I love reading 20th century literature and practicing audition monologues with my cats, Ophelia and Calliope, who often have much to say in their feedback.
