I am currently a student at the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!). I am pursuing a double major in Finance and Applied Mathematics in hopes of becoming an Actuary (a financial risk analyst) upon graduation. Throughout high school, I have pursued a wide variety of opportunities, ranging from being one out of only five cellists selected to study music at the Georgia Governor's Honors Program to obtaining a research internship at the University of Georgia during which I attempted to detoxify contaminated waters in third-world countries. Outside of academics, I love sports, animals, and learning about different cultures and backgrounds (I myself come from a diverse background, having lived in Korea, California, Alabama, Georgia, and Indiana). I appreciate a variety of music, and I strongly believe that rap is the modern-day poetry. While I tutor in a variety of subjects, I specialize in math (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-calculus, ACT/SAT/SAT Subject Math, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations - you get the point). In my experience in helping students prep for college and standardized test level math, we have the most amount of fun (and make the most amount of progress) in coming up with real life examples of each concept we cover so that we can both see the motivation and purpose behind learning each subject. I strongly believe that education is an essential foundation to a prosperous life, not only due to the academic knowledge one gains but also because of the principles of determination, perseverance, and discipline that it cultivates, and I try to instill this appreciation to all my students.

I am a PhD Student in Linguistic Program at the University of Georgia. I received my Master’s degree in English Education at University of Missouri. My area of study is language acquisition and language learning process.
