The student has a test on Tuesday, so we reviewed the material that was expected to be on the test, just concepts. I made sure he understood how velocity, acceleration, and displacement relate. We then moved on to some algebra 2 and practiced the topics he we was getting into. As it was mostly a review of algebra, he had little trouble. Finally, we looked at material that he would be getting into later in the week - vectors and kinematics.

Tutoring review by Alanna in Chino Hills, CA
This past session, the student's family requested that we go over telling time and analysis of clocks. She had some practice sheets, which contained questions about telling the time based on how a clock looks, as well as predicting how a clock would look given a certain time. The only difficulty we encountered in telling time was calculating time elapsed. She had a little bit of trouble understanding that between two times, a number of hours would pass. However, I think this is something she can catch onto quickly. We also did some addition work as well as some work with choosing the correct pronoun to use in a sentence. Both the math and English topics seemed to come fairly easily to her.
