Passionate about education, I began teaching marketing, product development, accounting, economics, French and Italian in classrooms environment and online. I have continued tutoring and teaching in California to share my knowledge for students as well as industry events. In my spare time, you can find me at the gym, going for a beach run, spinning, or cooking up something delicious. I have a Master's in Public Health and Bachelor's in Global Studies (with minors in French and Health) both from the University of Virginia. I was a very involved student on and off campus and completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in 4 years, so I learned excellent time management and study practices. I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs but travel a lot for work and have lived all over the world, and love being able to communicate in the native language of places I travel. I speak both French and Nepali at an advanced level! Most of my previous tutoring experience comes from my time serving in the Peace Corps, where I worked with students of all ages and supported their learning in and outside the classroom on a variety of subjects. My tutoring style is very personalized to the student I am working with; I love to start by identifying the student's broader goals and how excelling at the subject at hand will help them achieve their goals, then breaking down the steps to mastery of the subject into bite-size achievements.

I produce music professionally and hope to someday perform as a touring DJ, while also providing a space for students to learn about music production online. I'm in the process of developing an e-learning academy for music producers that will provide quality, accessible, and affordable education for all future popstars and producers.
