I'm very excited to be tutoring! I enjoy hiking and exploring new trails with my family. I taught elementary school for many years. I also really enjoy knitting, baking and reading. We have just moved to the Denver area. My areas for tutoring are elementary reading, math and writing/ language arts. I'm also experienced in Science and Social Studies. I'm looking forward to meeting new students!

I am a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado where I earned my BSN and a Master's in nursing education. I received a second Master's in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery. Since graduation, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and spent 13 years as a Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado of Nursing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, gardening and family time.

I am comfortable teaching are mathematics, chemistry and Spanish. Out of these subjects mathematics is my favorite to teach because of the logic found in the subject. I find it fascinating how, in mathematics, topics work towards a unifying theme.

I am a recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer with a passion for both teaching and learning. Dependable,dedicated and eager to serve others.Originally from Denver, I have recently relocated to the DC area and am enjoying it's diverse population.

I am an incoming first year medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. Through the course of my undergraduate career, I served as a teaching assistant for Cell & Molecular Biology and both undergraduate and graduate versions of Introduction to MATLAB.
