"We reviewed the basic concepts of the Spanish, beginning with the alphabet, then syllables with the letters C, G, H, J, and Q. The difference between the syllables GUE/GUI, the days of the week, the months of the year, the spelling and the interrogative words: que, cual(es) cuanto(a)(os)(as). He also reviewed how to ask questions using the interrogative words referring to days and dates, such as Que dia es hoy, que dia es manana, etc."
"We covered the topics listed on the study guide for the student's test, which included clothing vocabulary, numbers, irregular verbs, and words that describe time. We also spent some time going over her recent quiz to see how she can avoid making the same mistakes. She still needed to work on memorizing her vocabulary and reviewing her irregular verb conjugations, but she did very well with all the other topics."
"The student and I worked on lesson 6 in Learn Spanish the Fast and Fun Way. We did a review all of the new vocabulary about traveling by train. He has memorized numbers from 60 to 100. We also did a review of ER verbs in the present tense and continue learning stem changing verbs such as costar where O changes to UE."
"Spanish prepositions (a, ante, bajo, contra, de, desde, hacia, hasta, por, para, etc.) were covered today. The student practiced writing and pronunciation today. She wrote the half of a composition titled "Mi rutina diaria," using the reflexive verbs. We also had a dictation today, practicing the Spanish prepositions in sentences. She needs to memorize vocabulary from chapter 2."
"We did some basic introductions in Spanish and continued with lesson preparation (vocabulary and asking questions) in Spanish. The student has to prepare all new words for the next time, as well as a short self presentation in Spanish."
