About Me

I just graduated from Pomona College, in east Los Angeles, and I grew up in northern California and Beijing, China. In college, I majored in English and Philosophy/Politics/Economics, but I am passionate about a variety of subjects including math and Mandarin Chinese. Outside of class, I interviewed prospective applicants in the Pomona College Admissions Office and tutored my peers through the writing center. My tutoring philosophy is that boosting confidence and interest in a subject will lead to your success. As a liberal arts school graduate, I know the struggles and joys of learning across multiple disciplines: I want to help you learn the same strategies that have made me successful.
