I have a bachelor of science in forensic biochemistry and a bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of Central Florida. I have worked at UCF Academic Services for Student-Athletes assisting student-athletes in college-level courses related to chemistry, biology, genetics, history, and anthropology. I am most passionate about chemistry and biological anthropology as my master's research is related to the application of chemistry to human osteology. I am a firm believer that anyone can become an expert in a discipline as long as they are given the proper tools to learn that topic.

My thirty plus years as a teacher/trainer gives me the experience to be able to reach students with different learning styles and needs.

I have 9 years of University level teaching experience in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. I love tutoring people because it helps keep key concepts fresh in my head. Not everything you learn in school will be used, but some of it will be! And you don't know which parts until much much later. I focus on imparting understanding to my students. I detest rote memorization. Conceptual understanding will help you ace tests in this course and the ones after it!

From my experience teaching as a lecturer and laboratory instructor at both a university and community college, I have worked with students from varying educational backgrounds. It is particularly important for me to identify the learning style that best fits each student and present concepts that will be most effective for him or her. I make an effort to provide the optimal learning environment by having an upbeat, friendly and non-judgmental attitude in hopes to inspire intellectual curiosity and academic growth.

I am excited to use my professional experience and academic background to help students advance their educational learning and performance.I am currently a public servant working to advance New York City's infrastructure and protect the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood as part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Bus Terminal Replacement project team. Here I work with citizens and elected officials to advance the development of the project. I lead presentations and information sessions to educate the public on the process, timeline, and project.I previously served the people of New York as a Policy Advisor to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. Where I developed policy proposals for the Governor's annual legislative agenda and budget. I also worked to translate these complex policies into simple to understand concepts for communicating with the public.I came to public service by way of Manhattan Community Board 4, where I served from 2010 to 2016. I was chosen to be co-chair of the Transportation committee, and elected Second Vice Chair of the board.I am the former Vice President and current board member of the Chelsea Hell's Kitchen Coalition for Pedestrian Safety (CHEKPEDS).During a previous professional life in communications, I worked at the United Nations International School on digital media. In this role I worked closely with students, faculty, and parents on special projects.My work in communications lead to becoming the founder and currently the managing member, of Policomm Digital Communications Group.

I'm originally from Paris, France, and I lived there for 22 years. I moved to Seattle about 5 years ago, and now living in Dallas. I love traveling, and get to know new people. I traveled around Europe, Africa and the U.S. I'm very open minded and enjoy helping people through tutoring.I graduated of the College of Shoreline near Seattle. I received a degree in Marketing. I learned a lot studying in a new country for me. It was a great experience.I've been tutoring and teaching students for over 4 years. I use a variety of tools and materials to teach. I tutor all ages and levels. Every student is different, I make sure to focus on the student's needs, and mostly I need the student to interact with me as much as possible and ask all the questionsthat need to be answered.I'm also a basketball player, I love traveling, learning new languages and good food!

I've also attended Tuskegee University and Georgia State University within the 5 years of my study. While completing my undergraduate degree, I worked part time as a teacher's assistant at a nearby linguistics school. Overall, it was a great experience and it also taught me a lot. I also have a younger sister who is 14 years old whom I help with homework often. My absolute favorite subject since I was a child is English (reading and writing). I fell in love with books as a child and the love still exists as an adult. I am a yoga instructor in between time and I also own an online fashion boutique. You can catch me at my local park reading, writing poetry, and preparing yoga sequences.

I am a career for-profit and not-for-profit CFO who enjoys helping others learn and grow in their chosen field of study and future professions. I have also taught and tutored GMAT and LSAT courses for a leading test preparation company. I have a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School. I have used both Finance and Accounting extensively in my career and enjoy using my deep knowledge of these subjects to help lead organizations. I believe that everyone is capable of success in learning, and that respect and patience are key to fostering that success.I recently graduated with a Master's degree in History at Portlabd State University. As part of my degree I wrote a thesis on the effects of Welsh bardic culture on warrior culture during the Norman conquest of Wales. During my time as a graduate student, I worked for the university's academic journal, The Pacific Historical Review as an editorial fellow. I have presented papers at the International Medieval Congress and the Phi Alpha Theta yearly conference. My passion is history, and I enjoy writing and editing.

I have several years of vastly rewarding experiences teaching art and computer skills to high school aged students. I especially love math, as well as reading and writing, and I am eager to share my enthusiasm.
