About Me

I am qualified and skilled in mathematics ranging from Algebra to Calculus, as well as both creative and non-creative writing styles which grant a major proficiency in English grammar, syntax, and diction. Also, considering my background as a military dependent, I have lived overseas in Japan, which have granted me an extensive knowledge of Japanese culture and customs, including a conversational understanding of the language and its utility. Japanese and English are my favorite subjects to study by far, as language is a hobby I enjoy, but I always have fun in any subject when the student and I can enjoy and appreciate the session as a whole. On that note, I have always prided my philosophy when it comes to teaching, as I believe every individual has their own strengths and weaknesses of acquiring and remembering information. I believe that identifying these aspects of a student's mindset and using them to "rewire" the way they process information can have a lasting impact on how they perceive learning altogether. Outside of academics, I really enjoy Pokemon, art, and hiking!
