About Me
While studying for my degree I taught science camp at a museum in my hometown. I was responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans and interactive activities. I taught students the fundamentals of ecology, biology, physics and chemistry through a variety of informal hands-on activities and projects. I tutor a wide range of subjects but especially love tutoring students in science, English and writing. I can also share study skills, tips, and tricks I have learned in my years in college and the workforce. I enjoy getting people excited about science; my main goal is to make learning both fun and rewarding. In my current position I help lead STEM workshops to people of all ages. In my free time I enjoy reading, small space gardening and volunteering at a community hackerspace.
