About Me

Hello! I am an Emory University graduate with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. While my academic background gives me the tools to effectively tutor in maths and sciences, my love of reading and the humanities bestows me with the unique ability to also excel in reading comprehension and composition. Throughout college, I tutored high school students in all sections of the SAT and other school subjects. I developed a true appreciation for working with students to not only improve their grades, but also their confidence and mindset. Making sure the students' goals align with my goals (and, of course, the parents' goals!) gives the student the internal motivation and drive that is required to apply the insight gained at a tutoring session to every day academic performance. I am absolutely confident that any student can find what motivates them and gain valuable knowledge that both raises the grade or score and aids in improvement across the board. Outside of tutoring, I have a passion for food, movies, and health (or anything that encompasses all three!). I also love traveling and hope to have the opportunity to do so many times in the future.
