My name is Justin Gustafson. I am currently a Special Education Teacher in Racine Wisconsin. I teach at a Math intensive school. Due to the requirements of my job I supplement multiple courses, Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Biology, and English. I have done countless interventions in Math and English. I love building a rapport with students, and enjoy the challenge on solving how that specific student learns.

I'm a physicist with a broad background in the optical and biological sciences. Currently I work as a Systems Engineer - I design optical metrology devices for companies like Samsung and Intel, enabling improvements in the performance and reliability of their next-generation computer chips. I'm lucky enough to apply my educational background in physics to my day job, and I enjoy extending my knowledge to the teaching domain.

I am a very patient and experienced teacher. I believe in encouraging and supporting my students to meet their goals. Education is very important and I feel that tutoring at a young age can make such a difference for students that school doesn't "come easy to".

I love my job teaching students ages 3 to 10 years old. I am passionate about teaching children to read. I believe all children can learn, as an educator I believe I must find the way to teach them.

I am a graduate of Albright College where I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a co-concentration in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. While at Albright, I was deeply involved with Academic Learning Center's tutoring program. I accumulated over 500 hours tutoring my peers in their college Math courses. I tutored mainly Calculus, but I also had the opportunity to train and mentor other new tutors. I helped them learn the importance of study skills, learning styles, and communication so they could more effectively help the students they tutored. Math has always been my favorite subject to tutor because I love helping students build their foundation in whatever course they are taking to help them be successful. I have always been fascinated by the way different topics in Math are intertwined. In my spare time, I love to do all types of crafts, especially knitting. I also enjoy baking decorative cakes and cupcakes and reading.

I am an upcoming PhD student studying Counselor Education and Supervision. I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling. I have worked directly with children and teens for the past 6 years and strive to meet students where they are at. I also have experience working with adults returning to school.

I am a student at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on British Literature and a minor in Business Administration. After finishing undergraduate school, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Literature. I have been a tutor for 3 years and started as a volunteer in high school. While I tutor in a wide variety of subjects, my favorites are Writing/Composition, English, and American Literature. I find discussing the impacts that literature has on the world so much fun! I also find that helping students improve their writing skills and tailoring those skills to each situation is incredibly important. Before starting medical school, I worked as a medical assistant and a tutor for the KU Athletic Department. Throughout my undergraduate experience, I worked with students extensively as a peer tutor, undergraduate teaching assistant, and seminar assistant. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine as I love to help others by way of education. I work hard with students to establish a friendship that allows for a comfortable dynamic conducive to learning and asking questions. I also utilize a variety of resources in order to keep students engaged and frequently ask questions to assess their learning level. I recognize the importance of working with students to better understand their learning styles and studying methods in order to create individualized tutoring plans that maximize growth in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom.
