I am currently a student at Dartmouth College studying Biology, with a concentration on Human Biology. I tutor many subjects, but specialize in standardized test prep and in science, particularly Biology at all levels. I am most passionate about science, it is my favorite subject because it always has a definite answer but it might not be what you expect. At Dartmouth, I am a member of the marching band, Emergency Medical Services, and the sustainability program.

I am a certified ESL teacher as well as teaching History at the local community college. Being an ESL teacher gives me the opportunity to bridge language and cultures, which is something I am passionate about. History is the perfect subject to encourage students to think critically and independently. History, whether it is personal/family or state or national or world, provides an identity and moral understanding. I find it exciting when students move beyond parroting what I say or what the readings say to draw their conclusions and back up their statements with facts. By examining the past, students learn so much more about the present, as well as develop the abilities to use logic, problem-solve, assess evidence and conflicting interpretations, and understand past examples of change. These abilities transition into working life skills as well as develop responsible public behavior no matter if they are a national or community leader, an informed voter, or an observer.

I am currently a Junior at Washington University in St. Louis, studying computer science and math. I hope to one day be a software engineer. I love working with other people and want to help others succeed in my areas of expertise.

I am a student at Indiana University Bloomington working towards a Bachelor in Science in Biology and Neuroscience. During college, I have been a member of numerous campus organizations, such as Timmy Global Health through which I had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala and work with local healthcare providers. In Guatemala, we traveled to rural sites to set up clinics and teach the citizens of rural communities about proper nutrition habits and others ways to improve their health using the resources they have available. These experiences motivated me to seek a future in healthcare in which I will be attending the Indiana University School of Medicine in the Fall of 2021 in order to become a physician. Moreover, I am most passionate about tutoring in Biology and Algebra. I see great importance in education because it helped me make my dreams a reality. In my opinion, education is a great way to increase understanding of the world and to open up a world of opportunities in the future. My motto with education and tutoring is to focus on the small wins and to work education into one's life, rather than vice versa. In my free time, I enjoy painting/crafting, walking, and watching football.

I am an incoming college sophomoore studying Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I was one of the top scholars at Carmel High School in Indiana and have various experiences teaching and tutoring through leading the Carmel High School Science Olympiad team to Nationals for two years in a row. Many of my friends consistently come to me for help with various subjects because of my willingness to help and teach in a way that makes sense to everyone. My specialities are physics, chemistry, math, and economics but I am comfortable tutoring any STEM subject, the SAT, and the ACT. Some of my accomplishments include a perfect 36 ACT score, 800 on the Physics, Math Level 2, and Chemistry SAT subject tests, and a 5 on all the physics, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Macroeconomics, Computer Science, etc. AP exams. When teaching, I focus on making sure that not only do students understand different concepts, but also that students understand why and practical applications of the different concepts. As a recent high school graduate, I have a deep understanding of how high-schoolers think, what is covered in various courses now, and can connect with my students a lot more. Additionally, as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, I taught weekly recitation sections of 30 students and held weekly office hours. Therefore, I have lots of experience teaching and working with students.

I am a graduate student at the University of Indianapolis. Currently, I am going to school for my Masters in Education and my Indiana Teaching License in Social Studies for grades 6-12. I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Carmel High School where I worked with students in Biology, Algebra I, and Geometry. I graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Economics with a Statistics Concentration and History and Political Science minors. My first two years at Purdue however I was an Aerospace Engineering Major. Through college I worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for General Chemistry. Currently I am a coach at Carmel Swim Club who loves photography, fantasy sports, reading, and writing. My favorite topics to tutor are History and Science, plus I have experience in Math, Stats, and Economics. I firmly believe that the best way to tutor is to focus on learning strategies that will carry on for the rest of their life, and I do my best to share my love for learning with my students.

I am a recent Purdue University graduate in Computer Engineering. As a teaching assistant for multiple courses including C Programming, Freshman Engineering, Digital Systems Design, and iOS programming, I had the opportunity to meet many great students and assist them in completing their courses successfully and meaningfully. I'm Priyanka Prasad! I'm a senior Mathematics and Economics major at Butler University. I have minors in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, and French. I've been a Math and Economics tutor throughout my time in college. These are subjects in which many students struggle during high school and college, and I find helping students to feel more confident in them to be so rewarding!In my spare time, I love to travel, learn new languages, cook, dance, and work with young people.
