As a current Civil Engineering student at the City College of New York, I take great pleasure in attempting to help other students devote themselves to educating themselves. Since graduating high school, I have continuously tutored students of all ages in Mathematics, English, some sciences and Test Prep. Personally, I find the most joy tutoring Mathematics due to its constant appearance in everyday life and in the engineering field. Not only do I feel satisfied when a student shows progression under my methods, but I am also thankful for the opportunity to make an impact on a students grade. My approach to tutoring includes going over concepts first, relating to real world scenarios, teaching procedures and then doing practice problems of different kinds to help the student fully understand the topic at hand. Besides academics, I enjoy reading, dancing, playing video games, the outdoors and volunteering my time in the engineering field.
