My tutoring approach consists at listening to students, find the gray areas, and implement original ways to address points that may have been missed in their learning. I like scaffolding when teaching concepts, e.g, solve problems steps by steps for students, but as we progress in the sessions I bring the students to intervene more more in the solutions, i.e., progressively removing the scaffold. This way the students better develop their abilities to solve problems. They learn how to retrieve from their own knowledge base. Learning is fun.
