About Me

I am a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education along with concentrations in math and reading. As a result, I am certified to teach all subjects in grades K-6 and math and ELA through grade 8. I have taught almost every grade and subject K-8, but have a passion for reading and math. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning and am currently earning my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University. I love teaching because a strong education has the power to change a person's life. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.
