About Me

I am a current graduate student and an online English teacher. I am here to effectively help students meet their education goals! My areas of expertise are English and Writing but my B.S. is in Anthropology and Cultural Geography so I absolutely love to tutor students in History, Social Studies, and the likes as I am passionate about these subjects myself. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee but have been able to live in various countries abroad for extended periods teaching English. I most recently returned from living in Peru and I value talking about world travel and culture. I am available to book on all weekdays and my passion in life is teaching. My specific focus is to improve my students grades and create long lasting study habits and an atmosphere with a passion for learning. When it comes to any level of English or writing, I feel extremely confident in my abilities to guide students to create positive results. I'm currently enrolled in graduate school to become a state licensed teacher in Tennessee and I am open minded individual with a knack for learning foreign languages as well. I also have a 120+ hours TEFL/TESL certification including TOEFL/IELTS training. In my free time I like writing music, singing, and polaroid photography. What sets me apart from other teachers? I'm professional and bilingual too! After living and studying abroad during college, I learned to speak French and Spanish so I understand how daunting it can be to meet those education milestones. I naturally encourage my students frequently during class and extend the content beyond our session to apply to the real world.
