About Me

I am passionate about helping others to learn. As a young adult, I worked leading young military men and women in my communications unit. I earned my Bachelor of English degree while in the service. I developed and operated a successful mobile academic learning center for deployed members who wanted to continue their education. After successfully completing my military obligation, I worked as an elementary school teacher and college instructor. I attended night school to earn my Masters in Education and Doctor of Education degrees. With these accomplishments in higher learning, I held positions at the college level as instructor, Academic Chairperson, Director of Education and Interim Dean. The job I enjoy the most is helping students learn. I have taught in traditional classrooms and online settings for more than eight years. My experience in tutoring includes groups and one on one sessions. Classes and sessions are culturally diverse. I implement lessons that will engage each learner. I am dedicated to helping each student reach their academic goal.
